Albert Pick Match Box Holder

Albert Pick & Co. Chicago, IL, c. early 1900s, 1 ⁵/₈" tall. I don't know much about this. I bought it on ebay because I liked it. It's made of cast iron and was used (I think) to hold a box of matches and the dead matches that remained after lighting your cigar.

I haven't checked, but methinks this has gotta be the shortest description on this site!
