Bally 3-reel trade stimulator

Bally, c. 1920's or 30's. This isn't my style of machine, but it was in a collection I bought and didn't want to waste the opportunity to post it. It's not a vendor, it's a trade stimulator---basically a little slot machine. The reels show packs of cigarettes, and if the right ones line up after you insert a penny and pull the slide down, you can win packs of cigarettes according to the award card on the front. You don't get any gum, though, so this is a pure gambler and not a disguised gambler as are many vendors/games-of-chance. I sold this before I measured the height, but it's just a tiny thing, only about 6 inches tall if my memory can judge it correctly. It's a really cute machine.

The example pictured above is 100% original.
