King Aspirin Vendor

Palmer & Koehler, Buffalo, NY, c. 1931, 11 1/2". This was manufactured by Penny King and is a 5-cent version that sells capsules containing 3 aspirin tablets. "Palmer & Koehler, Buffalo N.Y." is in small letters on the bottom edge of the decal, and according to Silent Salesmen Too, they were the national distributors. The machine's bottom is blank.

This example is 100% original, and is in just the condition you'd want it to be with an intact decal and a great old patina on the body. The capsules inside are original, and their presence adds a lot to the machine. I've seen only one other example of this machine, so it's quite scarce. I pried this from a friend's collection; it wasn't for sale, but when I saw it I had to have it---I simply had to! It didn't come to me cheaply, but luckily, it did come to me. Thanks, Bob.
