Wrigley Trucks

Buddy "L" Mfg. Co., East Moline, IL. These are 2 sizes of Wrigley trucks made by Buddy "L." I think (but I'm not sure) that these are the largest and next-largest models. The top truck is 23¹/₄" long and dates to the early 1930's. The bottom truck is 14¹/₂" long and feels later, maybe the late 1930's or the 1940's. You can see them juxtaposed here, along with a much smaller truck that I've had for years, and which my then-young daughter thought needed a passenger. The small truck is 4" long.

I've seen several other-size models of Wrigley trucks on eBay, but haven't chased 'em down and probably won't. These take a lot of shelf space, which can be better used for machines. Still, a few of them scattered around breaks up the space and look good.
