About 14". These revolving Wrigley's stands evolved over time. Most examples represent the latest version, which is like this but is chromed and didn't---in my opinion---have as much depth or appeal as the earlier painted versions. There may have been other versions as well, but I'm far from an expert on the evolution of this model. It's made of metal, is kinda hefty, and sat on store countertops to display Wrigley's gum. It held stacks of gum that were sold for probably a nickel each. The customer would take a pack from the bottom of a stack and the remaining packs would fall to fill the gap. No coin needed with this, except the one you handed the store clerk.
The stand pictured above is 100% original and is a really nice example of the model. The paint's in great condition, "BE SURE IT'S WRIGLEY'S" is still strong, and the mirrors have just the right amount of silver loss---enough to give it character, but not enough to look damaged.
