Besides gum, candy, peanuts, and matches, vendors existed to sell cigarettes, cigars, postcards, collar buttons, apples, sandwiches, lighter fluid, pencils, perfume, aspirin, prophylactics, razor blades, soap and towel packets, stamps, combs, Dixie cups, lotion, sanitary napkins, and toilet paper . . . . . and probably a few other things I can't think of right now.
